Nonprofit Is Business is a movement and brand that champions the importance and value of nonprofits and nonprofit professionals in the business world. This movement was born out the founder's, Dr. Catherine Cushinberry, almost thirty years of first-hand experience in nonprofit. She saw organizations and professionals operating from a place of scarcity and a scarcity-mindset. Nonprofits are typically seen as organizations that only do-good. However, Catherine saw the need for this movement and the importance and necessity of nonprofits operating as businesses for the good of their missions.

 

This movement is about celebrating and elevating nonprofits. It welcomes everyone to join voices and proclaim nonprofits are businesses.
